This satin A-line skirt is ABSOLUTELY stunning! The fabric has a GORGEOUS sheen that catches the light beautifully!! It gives it that elegant, formal look PERFECT for prom, weddings, even fancy parties. It flows nicely & has a flattering high waist that gives it a graceful silhouette. Plus, pockets! Always a win in my book!! It also travels well as I am constantly living out of a suitcase for work & the rare time it gets even a single wrinkle, I put it on the bathroom for my shower & the steam is all it takes to get it back to perfection! Fits very well, and the fabric is very nice. It's heavy and it drapes well. It's really very nice looking. It isn't really a satin though. There's no shimmer or shine to it, which kind of dresses it down some. I plan on wearing it layered with other skirts and dresses and I think it will work great for that. It would also be nice for a more casual evening if you put the right top for it. I LOVE that it has pockets. They don't add any bulk as they are, but of course it depends on what you put in them, won't it? I would say it's true to size, and the zipper is smooth and doesn't catch. It has hanger loops on the sides, which is convenient. I'm pretty short, so it's a little long on me. That isn't a flaw with the skirt, but it is worth mentioning. The one I received is wearable, but I’ll either take in the waist or reorder in a smaller size because it’s otherwise such a perfect piece. Despite the sizing quirk, I’m honestly thrilled with the quality and design. The cut is incredibly flattering, the fabric is luxe, and the pockets are a wonderful bonus.
