The skirt itself is beautiful. Before you even take it out of the package you can tell by the weight that it’s a quality item. Smooth satin with a nice sheen. Huge pockets that could seriously hold a cell phone plus small wallet, keys, lipstick…and probably all without messing up the silhouette of the skirt since it’s so fully pleated. You can’t beat that! The waistband is wide and the zipper is secure and strong. Why did I take away a star? Because of the size chart. My waist measures a 35. I ordered a L. It’s way too big. Instead of looking glamorous, I look frumpy because the waist sags. I’m usually a solid M in everything. If I’d just ordered my regular size I’d be over the moon with this skirt! But now I’m stuck with a gorgeous skirt that’s too big and will be difficult/expensive to alter because it’s so nicely made and fully lined. I did get this item free through Vine in order to review and because of that I’m unable to return or exchange for a different size. Just really disappointed. This is not the first item I’ve ordered based on a sizing chart that is incorrect. Beautiful, elegant, classy and just plain gorgeous! I am a midi skirt kind of gal and I on a daily wear this as my style to go. I have purchased many and have experienced my fair share of skirts. This is probably hands down the best skirt I have seen in quality, color and flow in the wind. It has some weight on it but does not flatten the skirt down. This seems to have more then one kind of fabric which does not cause this to be thin or see through. This is of high quality, the seems are reliable and this skirt will last you a while and because of the way it’s made you can DIY this to be a full dress or as the model shows a more cocktail kind of look. My favorite to include is the zipper for its bigger then most and allows easy when closing. I received a large and for those who like it tight I would recommend a size smaller for with my kind I could have fit a medium with no problem. Read more
