This is a mix of mesh…. Layered mesh. It’s not as soft and smooth as the photo describes. You have to “figure” out where to put the “strands” along the waist. The dress could’ve did better if it was purely a polyester base….”90% polyester 5% spandex”…. It isn’t form fitting…. It’s supposed to look sophisticated and flattering…. I’m 5'2", around 122 pounds, with a 36C bust and 28-inch waist. I was right at the top end of the small size range, but I went with the small since the fabric is stretchy, and it ended up being the right call. The fit is spot on. If I had gone bigger, it probably still would’ve been fine, but I really like how the small gives that sleek, pencil-style look. When I first pulled it out, I thought, “OK, this is kind of a mesh/tulle thing,” but once you put it on, it’s really flattering. It’s lined so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through, though you can see the outline of your nipples. That’s easy enough to fix with stick-on covers if you want. The sash is a fun touch because you can tie it however you want, and I like the open back. It gives you that covered-up front with just enough sexy in the back. My husband immediately gave it a thumbs up, so that’s always a good sign. One thing to note: because the skirt is fitted all the way down, you don’t get a long stride like you would if it had a slit. I don’t take big steps anyway, so it’s not a big deal for me. I can see myself wearing this more in the winter since it has sleeves, which makes more sense here in Florida. Super flattering! This dress is lined and soft. Pretty sure the other reviewer was correct about being unable to wrinkle this. It's stretchy and feels sturdy and well sewn. The fit's true to size. Sometimes that's all us ladies need though! If that's really what you're looking for, this dress may just be worth it to ya! This got my fiance's approval!
