These pants are VERY comfortable and quite flattering. They are great for the sun because the way the "flaps" are designed, they keep you ventilated in the heat. They do have a few drawbacks, though. I've washed them about three times now and they are already starting to pill. They have no pockets. They are somewhat heavy and take FOREVER to dry, so they don't suit my intended travel purpose. I still bought a second pair for home use - I can throw them on and go out on the deck without having to slather on sunscreen. But I wish they had pockets and would dry faster. Also be aware that you need to practice wearing these! The flaps that cool you off also get caught on EVERYTHING, including your own shoes. You get used to it quickly but it was a surprise. I wanted, so desperately, to love these. They are interesting and potentially elegant. The fabric is paper thin, way thinner than previous coolibar purchases, like cheap tshirt fabric. Every little lump or bump shows, even the seams within the pants. So nothing about these are actually elegant. The tailoring also left a weird "second vagina" appearance where the front of the pants wrinkled badly. A total disappointment. Read more

The legs are exactly what I was looking for - light and flowy with a nice drape and full sun coverage. The waist is excruciating - heavy with a thick, stiff band and tons of folds.
