I get many compliments on this plain flowy skirt. I love to show off that it has pockets. The reason that I bought it is because I tire of wearing slacks to work but I need pockets. I have a long torso and short legs, the skirt fits well at my natural waist line and hangs right at floor length. This is a very comfortable skirt! I love the material. It's lightweight but not see-through, and although the fabric is very soft, it's not clingy so it's still flattering. It's perfect for summer in a hot climate like I live in. The pockets are nice and deep, but I noticed if I put my phone in one, it did pull my skirt down a little from the weight. It's a perfect maxi length on me. I'm 5'2 and 150 lbs. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the waist is a little tight compared to the rest of the skirt. I originally ordered a M and it fit perfectly everywhere except the waist, which was too small. So I ordered a L and the waist was still a bit small but I liked it so much I kept it anyway. As we traversed the countryside on a perfect, brisk autumn morning under azure skies, we perched on bales of hay in a Tally-Ho wagon, raising pints of Guinness to celebrate the occasion. Flowy and comfy! The waist is stretchy, so it moves easily with you. I love how versatile this skirt is- you could wear it at the beach as a cover-up, go to work, or out with friends. I love the length, but I am 5' tall, and it hits the ground, so I pulled it up a bit to walk easily. It's not too thick or too thin and well made. I absolutely love the pockets! Why did you pick this product vs others?: I ordered several black skirts and this one was by far the BEST Comfort: This skirt is so very comfortable; I am hippy and this fabric is not clingy at all. Very smooth fabric and the pockets do not gape at all -they lay flat. Perfect weight. Flattering: Very flattering to may body types; I'm a pear and it fits perfectly.
