I get many compliments on this plain flowy skirt. I love to show off that it has pockets. The reason that I bought it is because I tire of wearing slacks to work but I need pockets. I have a long torso and short legs, the skirt fits well at my natural waist line and hangs right at floor length. I originally ordered a size medium, as that is typically the size I wear. However, the waistband on the medium was too tight, so I sent it back and ordered a large. I could've made the medium work if I wore it super high'waisted, but I wanted it to sit lower. The large does work better for me so I kept it and am wearing it in the photos. The skirt is soft and comfy, and the length works well. It's also light and has good flow. Didn't come with a ton of wrinkles! I plan on wearing it overtop of my swimsuit for our cruise trip this spring. I haven't washed it yet, so I'm unsure of how the fabric will hold up. As we traversed the countryside on a perfect, brisk autumn morning under azure skies, we perched on bales of hay in a Tally-Ho wagon, raising pints of Guinness to celebrate the occasion. Despite the chill, I remained warm in my Leafsay tartan A-line maxi skirt. The occasion was the Blessing of the Hounds for the upcoming hunt season. The other revelers donned kilts and tartan scarves, and all things Celtic. One of our hosts treated us to the melancholic bouquet of sounds from his bagpipe. His wizardry drew us into the magic of the morning while we happily nibbled on meat pies and scotch broth. As the Irish whiskey and stout warmed us and loosened our tongues, the members of our party began to converse and share histories surrounding their tartans and other apparel. When asked by the others which clan my tartan represented, I sheepishly said, Bezos. While I'll never know the real answer, I was glad to receive all the compliments on my skirt and it helped make the day extra special. The color of the skirt was vibrant even after a single wash. It felt soft, and it flowed nicely. It did not wrinkle even in the package it arrived in. The length was perfect for the cold morning and did not get too hot as the day warmed to 70 degrees. Flowy and comfy! The waist is stretchy, so it moves easily with you. I love how versatile this skirt is- you could wear it at the beach as a cover-up, go to work, or out with friends. I love the length, but I am 5' tall, and it hits the ground, so I pulled it up a bit to walk easily. It's not too thick or too thin and well made. I absolutely love the pockets! I really love this skirt. It is a nice heavy material that is warm enough for when it is cold, but cool enough to wear in spring or summer with sandals. It fit perfectly around the waste and was a good length, since I am only 5’. Beautiful pattern and colors. Worth every penny. Read more

This skirt is not what I’d call a maxi—it’s definitely shorter than the photo. I am 5’7” and it hits a good 5-6 inches above my ankle/mid calf.
