I hate shoes and pretty much everything makes my feet hurt. I'm generally barefoot year round but obviously I need shoes occasionally. I found some barefoot shoes that are very comfortable but since they're very thin and are basically water shoes with drain holes in the soles they don't work very well in cold rain and snow situations. But these are great!! They have enough sole to feel like my feet are protected but not so much that my feet hurt after wearing them for a while. Plus they are warm and fuzzy! I'm usually a size 8.5 but I got the 9s. They are comfortable with enough room for thicker socks but warm enough you wouldn't need thicker socks. So while I wouldn't wear them if I was going to be inside for a long time they have been great outside in the cold and little snow we just got. I didn't really get to test their waterproofness too much yet, the snow wasn't deep. I feel very stable in them too, they have good grip. They look like regular boots from the side but I think they look a little like wide toe toddler shoes from the top as I look down but that's ok, I LOVE THEM!!! Highly recommend!! Read more

These are my new favorite boots! I live on a property in the mountains where most of my time is spent outdoors walking around. I Have been wearing only minimalist shoes for more than 2 years now as they fixed my plantar fasciitis and my feet absolutely love them. II just got back from a trip in Portugal, where I walked an average of 9 miles a day wearing only my minimalist shoes, and my feet never once had pain. I got these new boots the other day and they fit perfectly. I did order one size up, which was recommended and I’ve never done that before- even though they’re a little roomy in the toes, that works well for wool socks. I got the dark blue. I love these shoes. I love them so much that I bought two more pairs. They are comfortable, super roomy, warm, and plenty of room in the toe area!!! I'd definitely recommend and definitely buy more than one pair. I wear size 12 and I bought size 13, plenty big on me which is perfect since I don't like tight shoes. I really really recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good stable everyday shoe. It is great value for the money. The traction is very good, didn't slip as much on the ice as my other shoes. Easy to put on and take off. Easy to wear with or without socks. The style is a little strange but it is still cute. I wish they had more colors available, I'd buy every pair. I'm a woman's 8 and that's what I bought. Very snug without socks. If you want to wear a pair of heavier winter socks with these boots, which you will need to do if you live somewhere that doesn't have mild winters, go up one size. Also I really wouldn't consider these all that wide, more like med/wide. Other than that they are well made and comfy. I may return for one size up or just use these for warmer winter days and get another pair for the "thick sock" mid winter New England days. ETA: I did purchase one size up to wear with socks, there is not much difference in fit between the woman's 8 and woman's 9 which seems odd. Will try a woman's 10 to try and be able to wear midweight socks. I have worn then with very lightweight summer type socks and they are not really warm enough as the colds comes through the soles quite quickly. ETA: Tried the size 10. Fits with heavy socks. My advice stands, size up at least one, probably two sizes for adequate winter sock room. Other than that, great boots! Been wearing them constantly and they are warm and comfy. Read more

So, I wasn't expecting to fall in love with these shoes like I did. But WOW, when they arrived I took one look at them and it was love at first sight. It’s like when you’re trying on a pair of jeans and you know instantly that they will be your favorite- that’s these boots for me. They make me so happy! They are super cute and warm, go with most of my outfits, and slip on and off very easily- which is a plus for a busy mom like me. At first, I wasn’t sure if they were the right size as the toe area is very roomy, but I compared them to my other size 12 shoes and they were the same length. It took a little getting used to the roomy toe area, but now I’m hooked and they fit just right. They are true to size and great quality boots, I cannot believe the price!
