This beautiful sweater vest looks way more expensive than it actually is! It has beautiful knit pattern detail, the material is soft and warm, and the color is rich and deep. It's a home run if you're looking for a neutral sweater vest. Style: this is a loose, oversized sweater vest, which I love for wearing over thin turtlenecks and button-down dress shirts as the weather turns chilly. It's not so big that it looks sloppy. I am 5'2", 115 lbs, and ordered a small, which fit perfectly. The knit patterns (cabling and raised detailing) are featured on both the front and back, which I appreciate. Many cheaper vests only have the nice patterns on the front. There's smooth, even ribbing around the neckline and hem, and the armholes are smooth and even as well. The brown color is beautiful. Comfort: the material is very soft and not itchy at all. It's thick enough to be warm, but not hot and sweaty. Do be aware that although it's described as "merino wool blend" it's actually only 6% merino wool. This does mean that it's not itchy, which is nice, but this isn't going to be the wool sweater vest that keeps you warm in really cold weather; it's a fashion garment at the end of the day. But it's still really lovely and definitely plenty warm for the office (or under a coat during the winter). Read more

The material feels like it belongs in a much higher price bracket - even though there’s only a small percentage of merino wool, the blend is incredibly soft with a gorgeous drape. Somehow, they’ve figured out how to make 5.9% merino go a very long way. I ordered the “coffee” color and it’s exactly as pictured: a deep, rich brown that pairs effortlessly with everything. I’ve layered it over tees, long sleeves, and button-downs, and it works in every combo. Great transitional piece for fall, winter, or even cool spring days. The cable knit design adds a timeless touch without being too preppy or bulky. Fit is true to size - I usually wear a small or medium and the medium fit me perfectly. Not boxy, not tight. I'll get right to the point - I love this sweater!! It's perfect for fall and winter in the office! I've worn it a few times with a shirt under it and I've had loads of compliments! It's looser fitting than some of the sweaters I've seen, so it's easy to layer it over either a thin sweater. It is on a looser side, so if you are between sizes, you could size down if you want, or up if you want a looser fit. The fabric is so soft and comfortable to wear. I've washed it a few times and it's washed well. I can definitely see me wearing this a lot this winter! I got the brown color and it looks great with black or white under it. Very cute and warm sweater vest. The size does run a little small, I would recommend to order 1-2 sizes bigger. You can wash it on delicates and cold water, but do not dry.
