The chunky heel boots in coffee are beautiful. The leather is thick but soft from the inside. The style of the boot is for the leather to be a little wrinkled from the front. I like all type of boots, and I love the chunky style but if you are looking for boots that are more tailored, these ones are not for you. The boots are heavy, and I like how they add to my height and presence. The bottom sole has a lot of threading, and they have good grasp when walking. The zipper opens and closes smoothly. I am a size 7 in regular shoes and these boots in 7 fit great. I can wear them with thin or thick socks and walk comfortably and my feet feel secure and warm. I like to wear the boots with skinny jeans or with bootcut jeans that are long on me, and this allows me to wear them without fixing the hem. The boots don't make noise when walking, only the regular stepping noise of a heavy shoe. These boots will last me years. Read more

This is quite a good pair of boots! The leather is sort of medium-thin, about 1 mm or perhaps 1.5 mm. This makes the boots flexible, as you can see in the photo where I've got the boot shaft bent double. The zippers are tough and work smoothly. Obviously, I went with the brown color - it's nicely done with a bit of a color-change effect, depending on the lighting. (You can see the difference with the flash and no-flash photos.) The stitching is all precise, and there were zero flaws or blems. The boots are quite comfortable and fit true-to-size (I got size 9.) The shaft is 8" on top of a 2" heel, and the rest of the sole under the forefoot is about 5/8". I think these hit a good mid-point between being tough and looking fashionable - they're sturdy while still looking great! Read more

These boots are as described. The boots were ordered for a Christmas gift. They are black mid calf boots with a great detail. They were ordered a size larger so they could be worn with thicker socks for cold weather. They fit as expected. Good find. Good price for the quality of this boot. Read more

I like how well they are packed when you first open the box. Each boot is individually wrapped in a soft bag. They really shine coming out of the box too, great polish. I have the brown pair. I normally wear an 8, but went with an 8.5 because I wear orthotics for plantar fasciitis, which takes up space in any shoe, and I wanted to wear these mostly in the winter with wool socks. For those reasons, these are a perfect fit. Without the orthotics and with thinner socks, I would've worn a size 8 without any problem. These are wide and they don't squeeze my feet so I can wear them comfortably for hours. I love the square toes. These look great with my blue jeans.
