This is such a pretty long shirt that has a slit on the side. The color is a rich emerald green, the material seems kind of wool-like though thin making it great for both moody days and sunnier days in the weather. The fit is nice, it is true to the size advertised, it flows nicely, the band is an easy fit (sometimes the waists bands are heavy and thick pressing against my 'jelly belly' too much). I have been trying to find a nice, casual black midi skirt since what feels like the dawn of time - I didn't realize it was such a huge ask, but I think my search might be at an end. The fabric of this is really nice - soft, not too thin, a nice texture. The waistband is also pretty comfortable with a good amount of stretch and a wide elastic. I wish it was just a touch longer to really be a true midi, but I also have long legs, so it's most likely just a proportion issue with me. I kept her because she works, but I’m only giving 3 stars because she isn’t what the photo shows… The photo looks like a much thicker form fitting fabric. This skirt is not that. It’s a much thinner and less form fitting fabric than I had anticipated and did not hug my body the way the photo had led me to believe it would. I still loved her. So I kept her. I’d say size down due to the stretch and as long as you adjust your expectations on the fabric- you’ll love and keep her too! Read more

I have a skirt like this from Express, you almost can't tell the difference between the two. This skirt is well made, nice soft material. It's very comfortable on, and the side slit is sexy; not overly though. You could dress this up or down, and it's still appropriate for family and holidays, depending on how you dress it. This brown medium looks amazing! Right out the pack and I paired it with a shaper top. The whole look is cute. I love the split. My advice is to carefully check out the hemline of this skirt using photos others have posted. The bottom of the skirt gives an unfinished appearance where the vertical knit ended & is wavy or scalloped, not a smooth presentation as one would expect on the otherwise body hugging lines of the garment. I saw no way of correcting the hemline, so I returned the skirt. Too bad as the drape of the skirt is flattering until it gets to the hemline. Read more

I got this skirt for my wife because of the color, I thought it would look nice with some of her shirts she has. The green is a very pretty color, my wife love the shape and how comfortable it is. I'm so bummed since I was excited for this skirt. It's soft and seems well constructed but it is SO BIG. I nearly always wear a large in bottoms, but I mistakenly followed the size chart and ordered the XL. I am 5'5", 180lbs, with a 36" waist, 42" hips, and 45" butt. The listing shows that the Large is a 29.9" waist and 31.5" hips versus the XL with a 31.5" waist and 33.1" hip. Naturally, I ordered the XL, and figured it would stretch a few inches to fit me snugly. But this thing is giant! Even though it physically measures 30" at the waist and 35" at the hips, it just sags and gapes and looks terrible on. I could have absolutely ordered a size medium to get a fit like shown on the model, it's that big. It's not like it's even over-stretched when I'm wearing it, it's just hanging that loose. I easily pulled it on, but the stretch snap-back is non-exsistent so it just stayed stretched out and somehow bigger than I even stretched it. I might could roll the waist and wear a loose top with it, but it's so baggy everywhere that it's just overall unflattering. If you expect it to look like the model SIZE DOWN. One or even two sizes. If I could return this, I would. Instead it went straight to the donate pile. Read more
