This bra is so close, but not quite there. The cups run just a tiny bit small, even though I am typically running just under my normal size lately because I am losing a bit of weight. This tells me that this bra really may run as much as one full cup size small. Glancing over the reviews others have left, I can see I'm not alone with that assessment. I'm a pretty consistent 34 DD, on the taller side. I don't really like sizing up to 36D because it makes the cup placement much wider which makes me look bigger overall. The band on this bra is pretty perfect, and I love it wider, comfortable straps. There is balcony seeming in the cups and great structure at the sides which is something you don't see as much in the cheaper bras especially. It is so important in fuller sizing to give adequate side support to keep a beautiful shape. I love that it doesn't have extra lining and it presents a smooth surface under clothing. But because the cup size is just a little bit too small, I get a little bit of spillover which is evident on side view, but less so when facing forward. With looser tops or clothing that is more structured this isn't very obvious, but I can't wear anything that fits closely to the body or it will show. Too bad because it's pretty perfect otherwise. I have really enjoyed using this particular bra as a "daily driver." It is very supportive despite being unlined, with adjustable straps, sturdy hardware, and strong machine lace in the cups. The rest of the stretchy, sturdy material holds in fluff and smooths the silhouette well. The underwires are on the wide side, I'd say this bra is more optimal for wide set breasts. The center gore wires do come up pretty high between, as well. Some low cut tops especially with a rectagular wide-set neckline, may show the lace. The fit is more than adequate. I wear a US 38DD measured using A Bra That Fits; and band and cup wise this runs true to size. I would say the cups, as this is a minimizer, run on the smaller side, which is good for me, because I have short rooted pendulous breasts and this encapsulates and compresses the loose skin and tissue into a presentable silhouette. I'd say this is on par with a good brand name department store bra. Great fit, great materials, no complaints here other than the wider underwires. I imagine on some frames, these could potentially hit the underarm area. The bra is a decent value, but I would try to see if it'll become a better value in the future; the full price is a bit of an ask for something that doesn't carry with it the reputation of a name brand, however, compared to those same brands, yes, this is a terrific value. Trying the bra on, I loved it. Lightweight, looks and fits amazing. I didnt know what to expect so I was surprised and happy. My first impression besides its visual appeal is that it felt supportive and well made. The straps felt a bit rough to adjust but not a deal breaker. When I actually wore it, i found it didnt fit properly. I found myself spilling out as i moved around. Ive been professionally measured and I find my bra size varies by brand. My favorite brand is Wacoal. In unlined bras I need a 36DDD which is what I ordered here. For this bra I think I need a smaller band, larger cup. 34G is my sister size in Wacoal (usually for lined bras). the 36 just felt too big in the band. felt ok but I had it on the smallest hook so felt like it could be tighter. So all that said, I would order smaller band, larger cup if you know your sister sizes. One other con that stood out to me, the braw felt a bit scratchy. I didnt find it to be particularly comfortable in that regard. Bras are not known for comfort but I couldnt forget the itchy feeling all day. Honestly, my experience buying bras here has been disappointing. The sizes usually are much smaller than they're listed as. That is to say, they always run small. So, imagine my surprise, when I looked at this and it looked tiny, but I decided to try it on anyway and it was perfect. It feels very structured and supportive with strong fabric that doesn't stretch too much. I've worn this a number of different times now, and it's the best bra I've gotten from Amazon so far. It does give the impression of a smaller chest size as well. Overall, I would recommend this bra. The size that I ordered, and expected to fit me, actually did fit. That was a first. It has a nice shape, and I wasn't sure what to expect with a minimizer but once I put it on it totally made sense. As for washability, I'm too lazy to hand wash my bras so I just put them in a nice sturdy delicates washing bag. This washed just fine and kept its shape. I will look into ordering this again if I need to replace it. The value for money is great as well. It feels like a strong bra that will last a long time. Bras are the trickiest thing to purchase online. Sizes and materials vary so much. This bra was true to size but incredibly uncomfortable. The straps are a bit rough in texture with crisp edges that sort of dig into the skin. The lace is itchy. The band is fine but the felt on the underside of the clasps is scratchy, too. I made it one day wearing this guy and had to toss it in the donate pile. It's well made but very uncomfortable. Read more
