I’m 5’4”, about 160 lbs., and have a large bust. My typical size is large. I ordered the large black and I love the fit. The back cut-out is so flattering and I love showing some skin that isn’t just cleavage. You can’t even tell it’s a cut-out from the front so it’s a fun surprise! Goes great with a cute pair of jeans. The bright colors would be really cute for summer too, I’m thinking of getting the red for the 4th of July. My 5’5” 115 lbs daughter usually wears tops in size small, but in the case of this top I think that size x-small would be a better fit for her. Size small fits her but it isn’t very flattering. Her biggest complaint is that not enough of her back is exposed and that from the back this top gives and I quote “apron vibes”. She doesn’t like the longer front showing on the sides and the string tie hitting the waistband of her pants. Maybe if she wore this top with very low-rise bottoms, the proportions would look better but I agree with her that sizing down to x-small would probably be a better fit for her. Other than the fit issues, this is a nice top. The 88% polyester 12% elastane fabric is very soft and stretchy. The stitching is well done and all the seams are finished, including the tie-strings. I ordered a size large (I’m a size 12) expecting a comfortable, slightly fitted tank… but instead it turned out skin-tight. The fabric is thin, and the back design is kind of weird: instead of the smooth bottom finish shown in the pictures, the back stops abruptly mid-way down the back and the extra string tie just looks… unfinished. If the sizing had been more generous and the back design cleaner (not such an obvious elastic bottom), this could have been a cute top. As it is, it’s passable… a little too tight and not quite worth the price. Read more
