For other, colder climates might require a bit more layering. I’ll be wearing it for an indoor outdoor wedding in the mountains of Tennessee with no concerns it won’t be warm enough. This mauve waterfall coat is beautiful. I got a 3X because I wanted to fit clothes under it comfortably and since most things clothing wise run small . I was not disappointed! We are in spring now here in Massachusetts and it’s usually warm, but this year we have a cold snap and I’m not mad at it because I get to wear this coat longer, lol. These sweaters are heavy—as in weigh a lot. I’m trying various options for a fall trip to Europe, and have bad trouble finding merino wool cardigans at a price point that I want to pay, so I’m trying some alternatives. Unfortunately, this was not it. I’d like it as a fall sweater jacket, but although the arms are a good length and the shoulders a good fit, the front panels didn’t come close to closing/overlapping. Perhaps a very petite build might like these, but they don’t work for my 5’6” 157” build. Color was okay. Texture a sort of heavy knit, not a stretchy knit. Seems like to might be durable, but have no idea how it would wash—I do not see it going into a tumble dryer, for sure. Not a delicate look, definitely more of a coat weight, so minimally versatile.
