I had gotten the same color for my ex-girlfriend and she lived in it at work, because her office AC was always pumping, and everytime she went out for coffee she would get compliments. It was too cold out for Kim to get any compliments while we were out on Veterans Day. Unless you count the unadulterated stares she got from the construction workers working on the over pass we were photographing on. But I digress - the sweater! - yes, the sweater is thin, but warm enough for a Fall walk the dog jaunt, run across the street for coffee, and light enough to wear to the beach in June. The pros: The sweater is warm, soft, and attractive. The color matches the description, and it is true to size. I wanted to be able to wear a cotton or thermal tee underneath, so I sized up to a medium and am happy with the fit. You need to have a layer underneath, as there’s only one button, just fyi. It is lightweight and very soft with no itchiness. It’s decent quality for the price. The cons: The open weave knit catches extremely easily on anything. My cat sat on my lap for a bit, and his claws caught in the fabric multiple times. At one point, he caused a huge run in the stitches. Fortunately most of the little snags could be pulled through to the underside and aren’t visible, but the run in stitches is pretty obvious. The fringe, which is thankfully not overly dramatic, hides some of it. I do love the look and feel of the sweater, but I can’t recommend it to anyone with a cat or any pet with claws. Read more

I had high expectations for this cardigan. I don’t usually buy adult clothing from Amazon. I ordered this for a gift so I wanted to try it on first to see how it looks. The product images portray it to be really cute and functional. Packaging was good; vacuum sealed for space which was cool. But when I took it out, I was puzzled immediately. The edges were serged but unfinished all the way around. The back panel was attached to rectangle side panels that took me about ten minutes to figure out how they get buttoned together. Once on, I looked in the mirror. It looked horrid. Not at all like the images. It didn’t even fall nicely. It’s really short. I’m 5’7” 140; athletic build and it only hit just below my hip bones. The only way it would be as long as the images is if you’re 5’0” (that’s a hard maybe). It’s blocky and awkward and isn’t flattering at all and I can’t see any body style this would be flattering on. The fabric is thin and a little harsh and wouldn’t provide warmth or comfort. I don’t think the value is worth the money. You’d find something better suitable at Kohl’s or discount stores like tj maxx. Read more
