There are some good things that are nice and some that are not so nice. These boots are nice and warm and a huge improvement over my old cold weather boots. The insoles that came with these are very squishy, which I love. I have arthritis in one ankle and need as little impact from each step as possible. The squish really helps that. Unfortunately, the trade off for that is often less stability and these are no exception. On the other hand, I do have custom orthotic insoles that I put in these instead of the soft ones that they came with, and they made a big difference in giving me stability. Better yet, I was able to put the squishy insoles from these shoes in a different pair of shoes that had better stability and not enough squish, which improved that pair of shoes. I was hoping that these boots might give me a little more stability because they are high tops, unlike my tennis shoes, but the material is very flexible and soft, so it doesn't give support that way either. The arch support is good, but my ankle tends to roll outwards, so I need stability in both directions. All-in-all, these are good for reducing impact and giving arch support, as long as you have good side-to-side stability. If your ankles roll, these may not have enough support for that without specialized inserts. They also take a bit of effort to lace and unlace. I feel like shoes that are listed as orthopedic diabetic winter boots should be easy to lace, since they are aiming at people with health issues who may struggle to lace shoes up. I am capable of lacing these, but it takes long enough to be a bit annoying. If that is an issue for you, this company does have options with zippers or velcro that might be a better option. Pros: Good cushion Great options for insoles Wide toe box Warm and cozy Cons: Side-to-side stability is lacking Laces take a while to lace and unlace Read more
The media could not be loaded. Size 11. I wear a size 9 normally with socks on. I ordered these for my 18 yo daughter who is away at college. She has extremely wide feet that are often swollen from eczema or from soccer. She is a goalkeeper and on her feet in rain, sleet, snow. and 120 degree heat. Her feet take a beating and finding shoes for her feet that don't have to be custom made is challenging. These did not seem that huge on me but I had relatively thick socks on. Lately Amazon has had many options for her, however. They have wide and X-Wide. We could not be more pleased. Some are nice looking and others, well, not so much. These I thought were the not so much but I have been proven wrong but not by my daughter who does think they are not attractive. But by my 20 yo college attending soccer son. He thinks they are fine for cold weather and snow. Who knew? I tried these on for the review and am pleasantly surprised how comfy they are. Lots of cushioning and they include an additional insole should you want to insert them into the shoe for added support and stability. The toe area is huge and allows movement without removing stability and fit. The leather outer is very nice and the inside has fur like lining for a lovely warmth around the heel, ankle and foot bed. The tongue is fully able to be opened to slide the foot in without any struggle or pain. These are lace up boots, thus, if mobility is an issue assistance may be required. These boots remind me of my military boots from when I served in the USAF in the 1970s. They are not stylish in my opinion but they are serviceable, sturdy, warm, comfortable, and well made. They are pricey but they are real leather and offer the bells and whistles a person with diabetes, athletes, wide or large feet, swollen feet, or other afflictions of the foot need with their footwear. Unfortunately, that comes at a cost to get the best and lasting features. Read more
Very well made, however, even though the wide toe box is very comfortable, these were way too wide for my feet. I will be returning them and ordered the Shania boot instead. Read more
I got these boots primarily for the wide toe box and arch support, and they delivered! As someone needing specialized, comfortable footwear, finding winter boots that aren't bulky and still offer great support is tough. These are surprisingly lightweight yet warm. The interior padding and the arch support are excellent, reducing foot fatigue when walking for extended periods. The sole provides good grip, which is essential for winter weather. They fit true to size. They prioritize comfort and therapeutic features without sacrificing a decent look. Read more

These boots offer good quality and solid craftsmanship, with a comfortable fit and supportive design ideal for long walks or cold weather. They look nice and have a wide toe box that helps with comfort and foot issues. They’re lightweight, which makes them pleasant to wear, though it also makes them feel like they might not be the most durable over time—but so far, so good. A strong value for anyone needing supportive winter footwear. Read more
These orthopedic diabetic winter leather boots for women are great support for anyone that needs them. I personally have arch issues and I haven’t had any complaints wearing these boots in this cold weather. They are a good shoe, wide enough for swollen feet and offer warmth.
