I'm going to leave my review differently. Overall look: Very cute, fun Material: wonderful material, looks durable. The stitching work is great. Heel: is roughly 1-1/2 inches high Comfort: Unknown- I ordered a size 7 and was sent a size 9. I'm somewhat of a clothes & shoe picky snob, which I apologize for sounding like I never buy faux Leather foot ware on Amazon, but I was brought up to only buy my shoes & clothes from Macy's, boutiques & more expensive department stores like Saks & boutiques. I've never even knew there were Faux Leather Boots & shoes on the market. Mostly because my mother took me shopping and we shopped there, and I just assumed the habit after I got my drivers licence. Until one year ago I just knew Amazon was a place to order books, until I became a reviewer I have received some very remarkable eclectic items that I didn't know existed here that are favorites. I took a risk with these Black with Taupe swirls Knee high faux Cowboy boots in my regular size 8, and was amazed how well made, and comfortable they are to wear all day long. They have zippers on the outside and I can't tell they aren't leather unless I feel them. That being said, I'm over the moon with these boots that were a bargain at just $65.00. I can't speak for how long they'll last, so I will only update this review if the quality is less than them falling apart, but for now they look and are so stylish I will wear them. Before I just thought that real leather was all you could buy in a boot or a shoe. So I'll have to see how these turn out after I've worn them, but for now they are so exquisite that I LOVE THEM! I will tell you that I guarantee as long as you buy the right size that these boots are going to be even more AMAZING when you receive them and the online photo doesn't compare to how much nicer they are in person. I still will buy real leather boots when my pair of knee high leather boots that I have in Black & brown that I paid $275.00 each wear down, but these appeal to me but they were a little bit smaller in the foot size, so I don't know if Amazon shoes & boots run smaller since I'm a true size 8 Medium in shoes, sandals, boots, but not enough to bother my feet. If me the only leather foot person is highly satisfied, then chances are you'll be impressed to see these when you receive them are ones that I'll continue to wear. After I ordered these I ordered a coat which I haven't received yet. but it goes to show that someone who never knew Amazon sold clothes & foot ware until recently if I am impressed with the style for a fraction of what I usually pay, you should get these boots if you're considering them. I LOVE THIS BOOT.... The only thing that I have A MAJOR COMPLAINT ABOUT IS....WHY would you not put such a wonderful boot in A BOX and send it loose in transport to get crushed and wrinkle. With that being said... The boot is amazing.... From the fit to the design and height... even the heel, this boot covers the mark. It's sophisticated and classy and can compliment so many items in your wardrobe. The stitch takes them to another level. The vegan leather is like real leather in every way and even puts some of my leather boots to shame. The heel is the right length and it fits the leg well all the way up to above the knee. I wear alot of jeans and leggings and this is a perfect addition to upgrade any outfit from basic to sophisticated. And the color is rich as well as the detailed embroidery. I don't know what possessed me to order these boots because I'm never going to wear them unless I'm dressing for a theme or in costume. They're exactly as pictured. I will say the material is nice and feels like great quality and I love how tall these boots are. I ordered the over the knee cowboy boots in a size 8, and they fit perfectly. I have bigger calves from working out a lot, and they still weren’t too tight, which I really appreciate. I was a bit worried about comfort with such a tall style, but I was pleasantly surprised how incredibly comfortable they are. They didn't cause any blisters at all, even after dancing in them for hours. The square toe and chunky heel give them a stylish but practical vibe, perfect for all seasons. The quality is excellent. These are cute boots! I wore them out tonight and they were easy to walk in and I felt like a cowgirl 🤠 They were a bit snug around the calves but I have always had big calves, so I doubt these would cause anyone else issues. I would say if you are a little bit heavier, these may not be good because the calves are so snug. As far as sizing goes, these are true to size. They are A HAIR narrow but not enough to cause me issues. Someone with wide feet may not be able to wear these comfortably! So be aware of that!
