I ordered this oversized blazer for those occasions when I want to look a bit more put-together, even though I no longer need office attire. It’s a versatile piece that blends a tailored feel with a relaxed cut. It looks great with slacks, skirts or jeans. The double-breasted design gives it a classic touch, but it still manages to have a laid-back vibe. The fabric is softer than I expected—it drapes nicely without feeling too stiff or structured. It doesn’t have that scratchy or synthetic texture you sometimes find in more affordable blazers, which was a nice surprise. It is lined and has cool buttons. Sizing was the biggest challenge for me. The brand’s size chart isn’t very intuitive, but I’m 5’8” and 155 lbs, and I went with a large. The fit is intentionally oversized, so if you prefer something more fitted, you might want to size down. For me, the large works because I like to layer it over sweaters or thicker tops when the weather cools down. It has plenty of room without feeling sloppy or too boxy. The sleeves hit at just the right length, and it doesn’t overwhelm my frame despite the oversized style. I haven’t washed it yet, but the material feels like it could handle a gentle machine wash, though I’ll probably err on the side of caution and see how it holds up after a few wears. It’s not so delicate that I’m worried about it, but I wouldn’t want to risk shrinkage or lose the shape it has. I did steam it to get the packaging wrinkles out and that worked well.
