They are not my favorite boots ever but they tick enough boxes to keep them. They are heavy yet seem well-constructed. The toe box doesn't squeeze me at all and I like a wide shoes (Altra running shoes -- Phat Baby boots). They may be too warm(not breathe) for FALL/SPR wear - my foot was moist after wearing these with a thin wool sock. I would have preferred a grey zipper but the silver is not too loud. So comfortable! I have a very similar pair that were pretty cheap and uncomfortable and started falling apart immediately, but I've made them last a couple years. Shipping took so long, like 3 weeks to the point that I forgot I ordered them which was a nice surprise when I opened the box one morning. Did look a lil cheap looking up close but not from afar considering the richness of the dark brown. Shrugged it off and was ready to wear them for the day after trying on the right boot (very comfortable btw, fit great around leg and in foot area, easily could wear with thicker socks and still be comfy, also TTS). Then came the left boot. Now queue the tiny violin. I could not get the left boot zipper to come back up. She wasn’t budging. Never did get her back up so back to UPS we went.
