I ordered one size up and probably *could* have gone up another size if I wanted it a little more roomy. However, as is it fits nice! The sleeves are adequately long and have enough space for my plus-sized arms without being tight. In fact, none of it feels tight. It hugs the arms and shoulders without being restricting because the material has a nice amount of stretch. I always push my sleeves up to the elbow and these stay there nicely. It doesn't hang quite as long as it shows in the image but it's also not short (I'm 5'8). It's thin but that's what I LIKE in a cardigan - if I'm going to wear it layered over a shirt all day then I don't want heavy or thick because I run hot.
