As soon as I took it out of the bag, I knew the Imimtuan Womens Plus Size Cardigan was a keeper and a winner! The XL fit as expected—generous in size for layering. It is thick and cozy, perfect for a cold winter’s day. The ad says it is 100% polyester but the inside tag lists the fabric as 42% Acrylic, 30% PBT, and 28% Nylon. Launder as directed on tag. I ordered it in black and love the weight and texture of the sweater. The length and design makes it a versatile sweater to be worn with jeans, dress pants or skirt. I bought this because I thought it was cute, plain and simple. Then my coworker saw it and said it was “perfect for grandma maxxing,” which apparently is a Gen Z compliment, I’ll take it. The cardigan is soft, cozy, and really flattering. The apricot color is warm and goes with pretty much anything, and it has that comfy oversized feel without looking frumpy. This is a very soft sweater and the material isn’t too heavy or scratchy. However, it runs really big. I’m 5’8”, 225lbs and a size US 16. I ordered the XL. But it’s just way too loose on me. I do have narrow shoulders that roll forward (I have hypermobile ehlers Danlos syndrome) So that often contributes to things fitting loosely on my shoulders. But the sleeves were too long as well, which never happens to me because I have long arms. This is just going to be an around the house sweater. It doesn’t look good enough to wear as an outfit. Beautiful cardigan!! I wear a XXL as my sweater size and XL fit me perfectly (women’s size 14/16). I love this cardigan and see myself gravitating towards it when I get a little chilly already. This is a very comfortable sweater. It is rather thick and does a great job keeping the cold out. I got my usual size, and it might be just a little too large if anything, so one should be careful ordering. The extra is perfect for me wearing bulky clothes underneath it during the winter though.
