Weird fit, not the same Catherines as years ago
Catherines was bought out in 2020. I used to buy almost exclusively from them. Now, they have gone so far downhill. The materials are rougher and the fit is no where near as good. One pair felt like there was no room for my rear end but a puffy front side. The other seemed to have a big waist. I tried ordering some more hoping those were just from a bad run, but same experience. I also bought their shorts and had a similar experience. I guess my two decades of buying almost everything from Catherines is over and I will not likely buy from them anymore. Not like they used to be
I have worn these jeans for years. Always a 2x. Loved them. Now that Catherine’s has merged with the other stores, they are so different. First, Amazon suggested a 4x. ???? So I got a 3x. Can’t even keep them on. Bought my usuals 2x. I guess I’ll need a 1x as the 2x is too large also. The fabric is a lot thinner than the old jeans and the rise is not as high. I guess I will have to go on the elusive hunt for jeans for a big belly and smaller butt and legs again. Gee😩 Read more

These were not what I expected them to be, but when I readjusted my thinking, they worked. I was expecting stretchy knit, which I usually wear because I am heavy and I like to be comfortable. However, these were more jean like. It turned out they were still comfortable, so it will be fun to have a more youthful pant. Read more
