Finally, the boots fit! Ever since moving to the Pacific Northwest 12 years ago, I have had hard luck finding boots that fit my calves. I ordered .5 size up to accommodate thicker socks. I love the style of the block heels. Love the price of the boots, too. Winter and cold weather are just around the corner, which will test the comfort and wearability. I really wanted to like these. I loved the color and they were comfortable in the foot box, and the heel height was perfect. However the top of the boot stuck out too much on the sides of the top around the knee. The quality was nice, the heel style was perfect, but I couldn't get past the top. I love these boots so much!! They are very well made. They are a little tight to zip up. I have to wear leggings with them but that was the plan. I am 5'3" and 170 pounds with a 16" calf and cankles and I bought a Size 7. I feel sexy and skinny in them. The heel is the perfect height for a couple hours of walking around. Buy them right now!! These are definitely wider calf, but not extra wide by any means. I have 18.5 inch calves, and these had at least 2 inches before they'd close around them. Theyre super cute, have great tread, and seem well put together, but if you have true extra wide calves, these probably wont zip. I even tried compression socks to help cinch my calves more but it didnt help. Read more
