I'm 5'8", 190ish lbs, 45/38/49 and I bought size 2X. These fit well. The liner is a brief or panty style. The liner has nice coverage for my butt cheeks and my fupa, while the outer fabric draps nicely to conceal. They don't stick to the back of my legs or show a camel toe. It's a loose fit. The high waist part goes over my muffin top fully and stops at my bellybutton. The overall fit is secure and comfortable. There is a slight issue with the color. I bought black but it's a bit more navy, but I don't mind. You might be able to tell in direct sunlight, but in any other lighting it's dark enough for me. The fabric feels just thick enough to be sturdy but it's still breathable. Overall if you're a big girl just trying to get something with coverage and comfort, this is a good deal. I bought this because I was unsatisfied with choices for plus size swimwear when it comes to active swimmers. Other offerings were for style more than movement. This seemed like a great idea for me, since I'm at the pool to exercise, not lounge. I'm a big gal, so my main concern was size. I was worried this wouldn't fit, but it was perfect. I'm normally a 28/30 depending on the clothing line, this fit just fine, not tight at all around the hips. After a few weeks it's kinda loose though, which is a good sign in my case. The only real issue are the pockets. They do float to an inside out position as I move through my class. Not a huge deal though as it doesn't impede my movement in any way. The material is typical swim material. Plastic feeling not sure that it's sun/chlorine resistant but they are holding up well. Considering purchasing a second pair just to have on hand with how frequently I swim. They do dry slowly (I air dry mine), but you don't want to heat dry (in a dryer) this kind of material as it will ruin it quicker. Follow the care directions always! Swimwear has to be hand washed and dried to keep them wearing longer. I follow that to a T with this piece and my other swimwear. Learned the first time, the elastic in the fabric will deteriorate quickly if you don't follow the care instructions. Overall good buy for active plus size swimmers. Buy it, you won't regret it.
