I'm pretty neutral about these pants. I'm 5'4"-5'5". . On a good day. I typically have to hem most pants I get from most online retail stores in general, this is no different. Now, I didn't try these pants on with any wedges or heels. I know that would have helped and I just didn't because I. .. just didn't. 🤦🏼‍♀️ On to the pants ! They feature an elastic-back waist area, a smooth-front waist with belt loops and a belt that came with in the bag. They are a light weight material that feels quite nice when on, and I assume will feel probably nicer once washed too. Not to deter anyone, but I think these would be great for spring and summer months or if you have a long coat to put over them on the way to and from the house and car - due to the fact they are a light material. They aren't see through or anything, but I don't think they are going to provide much warmth during the Northeastern winter season heading to work. The pants are black, my camera just had them as looking more grey for whatever reason. I didn't have super high hopes of them looking very flattering on my body but - I'll give them a solid 7.5/10 . The POCKETS are actually pretty nice on these pants too. I can put my hand inside and open my fingers a bit! I should have tried putting my phone in there. My bad, however with them being a light weight pant, I'm not sure if the weight of the phone would pull the pant ? I don't work in an office setting but I could see those who do wearing these pants. These would also be great business casual, or nice staples for starting out, interview attire, pieces for easy outfits. I recently ordered the 5X black pants for personal wear. The sizing chart indicated that the 5X would. My hips are 63 inches, 29 inch inseam and my waist is 48 inches and I am 5ft 8in. These aren't for short people because it has the L at the end of the size meaning, "long". The length came to my ankles which is actually a little shorter than I like. The problem is the material. It's polyester but it feels like a satin and has a ton of static. They kept clinging to my legs and bottom but not in the front. I used static cling to try and diffuse the static and it didn't work. Finally a pair that fit in length, inseam and waist/hip but the material is not good. This did not meet my expectations. Read more
