Beyond grateful that I was recommended these boots! They are so cute, extremely comfortable and - to my utter shock and delight- SO WARM!!!! These are amazing! They are perfect and true to size. (I am normally very cautious of buying shoes online since I have wide feet and sizing can be difficult.) Even though it can be a bit difficult to get your foot in, once the boots are on, I could wear them all day. They are surprisingly comfy! They have a nice layer of cushion. I’m considering buying the black pair (I got the pink) to wear all day on bad weather days. And another plus: I get so many compliments on these! I think the shoes are really cute and fashionable. They seem to be made well. I stepped in a puddle to test for waterproof-ness and no water seemed to get in the shoe. I recommend wearing slightly thicker socks if you get cold feet. I wore regular socks and the shoes didn't keep them very warm. I tried them with boot socks and it was way more comfortable. The shoes squeak but I'm hoping its because they are still getting broken in - I've only worn them twice. Also they aren't completely slip resistant as my foot still slipped when I stepped on some slick plywood. I DEFINITELY would measure your feet and look at the chart in the pictures before you buy! I normally wear a 6/7 but ordered size 5 and still have a little room which is perfect for thicker socks. Also, the shoes are kind of a pain to get on because they are tight and its difficult to get your foot through the ankle part into the actual foot part (I will upload a pic and circle the area). I'm hoping once they are broken in they will have stretched a little and will be easier to get on. I've noticed some pain and pressure on one foot on my pinky toe which causes pain after wearing them for awhile. I don't know if it's a shoe issue or foot issue since it's only one of foot. These rain boots are excellent all around. The boot is entirely waterproof - there is an inner lining all around, including over the “elastic mesh” -looking sides, so you can submerge the whole boot into deeper water. The insole is also very cushy and comfortable. The boot does go up rather high over the ankle, so you DEFINITELY need long socks or pants to prevent rubbing and chaffing on the leg. The boots also have GREAT traction - probably the most grip and traction on any of my existing shoes. The size does run large compared to the sizing chart - I usually wear a 6, ordered a 6.5 since I wanted some extra room, but the shoe fits more like a 7/7.5. these are probably the worst pair of boots ive ever tried. i usually wear a women's 8.5-9 so i ordered a size 8 to be safe. they are so big my feet slide around and theres about half an inch of space on all sides of my feet. they also squeak every time i take a step even after wearing them for a week. i would have returned them but i need them for dog grooming academy and another pair wouldn't have arrived again. the only positive is they dont hurt my feet but with how loose they are i don't see how they could. I read the reviews & still gave them a chance. Only to regret it, these boots would be great! But the entry ankle area is extremely to narrow & tight. Unless you have flamingo ankles & legs. These are absolutely impossible to get on or wear comfortably. W/no way to break in, due to no give or stretch in material used. Read more
