I just wore these boots for a week in the Costa Rican jungle. It’s the rainy season and I was slogging through mud and water most of the time doing fieldwork. These boots were bomb proof; there was no leaking and they were comfortable & durable! I watched other people’s rubber boots start leaking and splitting at the seams after a few days of hard hiking in the jungle, but these boots held up fine. The size/fit of the boot is great; and despite the heavy use I got out of them I didn’t get a single blister. For that alone they are worth every penny! I also liked that they were a taller height, which I needed for protection against potential snake bites. I originally didn’t plan on bringing them back with me since I already have a different pair of rubber boots at home (and I was trying to save weight/space in my luggage), but after seeing how well they held up and how comfy they were I decided to squish them in my suitcase for the trip home. I love that they have a non-slip sole, which gives me extra grip when walking on wet sidewalks or muddy grass. The fit is snug around the calves, so if you plan to wear thick socks or have wider legs, I recommend sizing up. Inside, the boots have a soft lining and a removable insole that adds a nice layer of comfort for long wear. They also look great! I’ve gotten compliments just wearing them with leggings or jeans. Im 5 ft tall. Calf is about 15-16" and these boots have enough room for my calves. However, these are not short girl friendly because they hit the back of my knee when I sit down. It's lightweight, very flexible, and comfortable but it is not well constructed. The sides of the soles are uneven so I dont think this would last long. The color is nice tho. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I was really excited about these boots. They are tall and exactly what I need for watering my garden. Right out of the box, I slipped them on and went outside. In less than 10 min. Of watering I noticed my feet were already cold. I turned off the hose and noticed a sound coming from both the left and right side boot. Both my feet are wet.
