I was not sure what to expect with these boots. There are some positive things and some negative things... First, the materials are inexpensive, from afar however, the “vegan leather” boot material has similar shine to it to leather so that’s a good design decision. I actually prefer a non-leather boot that looks like leather, but there are so many better quality materials available. The base of the shoe is one complete piece of rubber that has been glued on with some fake stitches around the edges. The boot itself has a slight platform — a little bit more than a centimeter and the heel itself is a little over an inch. There’s a side zipper that doesn’t go all the way to the top. I’m not sure why you would need this unless you had a pair of jeans or pair very long pants you wanted to sort out while in the shoe. What I really don’t like about this is the sizing. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and this fits like a 9 1/2 or 10. It’s also very wide I thought perhaps I was accidentally sent a wide shoe but it seems I have not. The gap between the side of my calf and the top edge of the boot is wider than a standard tube lipstick and can easily accommodate a tennis ball. When not being worn, even a standard size pen is smaller than the width. It’s about 40% larger than my leg from the top of the boot, somewhat tapering down to the ankle. down ankle. I really think these boots are best for wide calf and size down. Not for narrow feet. Perhaps mine were simply miss marked, the shoe and box both say they are size 9, but these definitely fit like extra wide shoes and are looser than they should be in length and width on foot and width on the boot upper. I don’t think these would fit properly if I was wearing heavy ski socks and leg warmers. This product loses one star for the sizing/fit — but since I’m not sure if it’s just an error. I’m going to combine it with the lower end materials that don’t align with the sellers price point in my opinion. I would estimate these as being 30 to 40% higher than they are would be sold retail. The gold detail on the side is very clever. It’s in the right place and it’s very attractive. I would say the quality of these boots is probably something typical that you would find in stores that sell shoes and other home items. If the seller decides to offer me an exchange for another pair of nines or even an eight, I would be more than happy to update my review. Read more

These boots are absolutely gorgeous - great design, great quality, and they feel really well made. I was so excited when they arrived because they look even nicer in person. Unfortunately, they just don’t fit me the way I hoped. The foot part fits perfectly, but the calves are too narrow for me, so I can’t zip them up comfortably. It’s a real shame because I genuinely love the style and craftsmanship. If you don’t have wide calves, I think these would be fantastic boots. For me, though, the fit just didn’t work out. Read more

Unfortunately these boots did not work for me. They were at least 2 sizes too big, and therefore I couldn't wear them. I even tried to wear very thick socks with them, but they were still way oversized in both the ankle and calf area. I recommend sizing down for sure. I have been looking for some boots for the fall and winter and am so delighted to have found these! The heel adds a little height while still being very comfortable to walk in. The soul is thick and has good grip. They have a small zipper but at least for me I was able to slip them on without having to unzip. This classic style is comfortable and adaptable to just about any circumstance, whether under or over pant legs, or with a skirt. The fit is perfect, and they are a little bit wide which works great. I ordered these sight unseen, as there was no photo, but the description sounded like something I'd like. This was a good gamble. They have black leather feel (not genuine - but still nice) with a fashionable gold buckle on the side. My only gripe is the zipper only comes up part of the way. I recommend sliding your foot in first, then unzipping to make it easy to get them on. I unzipped first and my foot came out the side lol. Not my brightest moment. A bit tricky to get on, but easy to take off. They fit true to size and look stylish. Very comfortable. Super happy with these and would recommend! Read more
