Very pretty, well-made, nicely fitting skirt! The waistband is very stretchy and could accommodate a variety of sizes. The skirt itself is not overly stretchy but does have a little bit of stretch. The material is a heavier-weight polyester satin that seems like a very good quality fabric! My daughter, who does not wear dresses or skirts normally, found it very comfortable. Great quality satin skirt Size / Fit: I'm normally a size 8, and although this is usually a medium, it's listed as a large in this item's size chart. The large fits pretty well through both the waist and hips, although is a bit more flowy through the main part of the skirt than I may have expected. I'd probably recommend sticking with your normal size to get a more fitted look. Material: Really thick and quality feel to this skirt. The satin is super smooth and soft, and washed well on a delicate cycle. Style/Construction: Seems very durable and well-made. There's a thick, elastic waistband that doesn't show (it's folded under and secured at the side seams) - it's a little weird feeling to have it only secured at the sides, but it creates a nice hidden look that functions well enough. This skirt is slightly longer than I was expecting based on where it fell on the model - I'm 6 ft tall and it comes down to my shins. This is a perfect summer skirt! The material is lovely (the green is very fun and vibrant), and flows very nicely. Fit and finish: A great cut - the slit is just high enough to avoid it being restrictive, but not so high as to be too revealing. The wide waistband is hidden and comfy, with enough width to held on without being tight - sizing is spot on. No loose threads, launders nicely, irons to a super smooth and slinky finish. I ordered the large, and it fits me tightly right now, which is exactly as expected. I currently wear a size 14/16, and am actively losing weight, so I wanted this to fit in a few months. It fits now, but tight because it's a stretchy fabric. So the fit is exactly as expected. The quality is nice. It's flattering and looks good on.
