Just a run-down: I got this sweater for my Halloween costume (Marceline the Vampire Queen). I am roughly 4’10" and 145lbs, and this sweater was super long on me (which is a plus!). Additionally, I appreciated how lightweight it was to wear, yet it was relatively warm considering its see-through nature. However, the material is not great. It’s clearly not made well. The distressed holes are in bizarre places, and just within a day of its arrival, it already looks to be unraveling. Yes, the sweater is “stretchy” because the holes get bigger and bigger within 30 minutes of wearing it. Lastly, I noticed that the bottom of the sweater flares out in a really unusual way. I don’t know if it’s my body type or the material, but it was really unflattering and hard to style in a way that looked good (via jeans, shorts, etc.). I was really worried that this was going to be way too small for me. I’m 5’2” and 220lbs, but this fits! Does it fit the way it does on the model? Nope, but it runs long enough to hit me on my upper/mid thigh and is stretchy enough and wide enough to look a little slouchy cute and fit my 40G chest. I just got it to match a pair of Hot Chocolate’s purple Nightmare mary jane’s and it’s a perfect color match! I’m thrilled. 2005 here I come! Read more
