This dress met every expectation the quality is great. The color and sequence amazing exactly what I wanted very flattering on the body. The material isn’t too thick, but not too light and was very comfortable for an evening out with my husband at a gala. I was able to move around in it with no problem. Ordered chocolate color. As you can see, that’s not the color I received. However, the dress is comfortable. Made very nice. Fits beautifully and is long enough if you are tall. I am 5’11” 200lbs and ordered a large. I have bigger hips and like no chest so this size worked for me. Would give 5 stars but the color doesn’t match even close to what was ordered so I can not wear it for the event. Also, you can give measurements if you are okay waiting a bit longer for the dress to arrive. I did not give measurements and just ordered as is and it is still stunning. Read more
I took my chances with purchasing an evening gown on Amazon, but the reviews were good and the price was right. So here is good and bad for this purchase. The bad - the dress is cheaply made. Unfinished fabric and crooked stitching. But I’m ok with it, considering the price. - it keep shedding little red particles. When it first arrived and I took it out of the bag. I thought it’s shedding because it’s new. However after shaking it over and over, trying it around the house and actually wearing it for 8 hours, still, it leave the trail of little red pieces of fabric or threats… every time I handle the dress, I need to pull out a vacuum to clean up. - I never got an email requesting measurements, like others say in their reviews. - it came in a bag and was super wrinkly. After trying to steam it, I was completely unsuccessful. The wrinkles just impossible to get out. But because it’s covered with sequins, you can’t really tell, unless you really pay attention. - from what I understand, this dress is not machine washable, and with all the sequins I doubt the dry cleaning will take it. So hand wash??? The tag on the dress is cut off and there is not instruction. Good - it arrived a day or two early - the fabric is stretchy, for a better fit. It actually fits really really well. - it had a lot of structure on top, and it’s not flimsy at all, considering; the price. It has a built in bra cup, and I didn’t need to wear a bra with it, but I’m cup A. It is also fully lined. - I’d like to mention again, that it fits well and true to size. I purchased size 4 and was very comfortable in it. I could have got away with 2, but it would have been a little tight… 4 was just perfect. This dress was gorgeous! Just how it looked in the pictures! Fit true to size and is perfect for that formal event you will be attending. Hugs all the right curves and is a great value for the cost. Only minor con was that the train does indeed drag the floor and a few people did step on it. The compliments you will receive wearing this stunning gown is worth it though! Read more
