I am a plus-sized woman and I was concerned this might not fit but I was able to fasten it around my waist with the included inner tie and the belt. (for reference, I wear a size 18 or 20). The robe is soft and feels luxurious on my skin. I prefer it over my satin pajamas for feel and breathability. The only thing I found a slight disappointment was the shape of the sleeves. As a kid I had a Kimono and the sleeves were quite large but this robe has relaxed sleeves but not like what I expected. Read more

Women's Silk Kimono Robe Long Bathrobe Nightgown 100% Mulberry Silk for Women - Classic Floral Pattern The robe comes simply packaged in a lightweight cardboard box that is wrapped in a plastic bag. I honestly have to say, that the presentation level for a garment of this cost is very low. When you open the box, right on top is some kind of plastic bag (like a shopping bag) with the manufacturer's name on it. Underneath that, the robe is in another plastic bag. (Once again, I have to say the presentation for such an expensive garment is very much on the low side. With this packaging, I would consider more for a cheap t-shirt than inexpensive fancy robe.) [one family member said that they thought the box was for an air filter] On the bottom of the box there is a loose cardboard tag that has the manufacturer's name on one side and the other side has the care and maintenance for the garment. Dry cleaning or neutral detergent, hand wash in cool water. You cannot soak in chlorine bleach, cannot drip dry, cannot wring out of the garment. They recommend that you hang naturally in the shade to dry. (And here I think the translation is failing a bit) It says if you need to iron in the dry to about 80% can be carried out on the reverse side of the garment. The garment cannot be sprayed and the ironing temperature should be below 100° c (212°. F. ). Once you have the robe in your hand after freeing it from all this plastic, I must admit this is extremely light in weight. The fabric feels very light weight, like air in your hand.The designs printed on it are vibrant and sharp. The neck tab, sewn into the collar, has the manufacturer's name ‘ticyluck’, and the fact that this is 100% silk. Also loose in the box is the belt. As far as fit, when she tried it on, the belt was a bit ungainly. After going through the loops, it ended up fairly high on the body, tying in front, just under the bust line. There is a secondary smaller tie that goes from inside on the right side to the front of the left side, which we believe is designed so that the robe will wrap the body a bit, and not gap open in the front. The sleeves are shorter than I thought they might be, about 3/4 length on the arms of a 5'4 [bigger] woman. Likewise, the length of the robe comes down to about 2 in below her knees.(She says that she would normally wear a large robe, so the fit on this is about right.) She also stated that the feel of the fabric (being 100% silk) is a bit coarser than it might be and felt more like a lightweight nylon. She says it doesn't float on the skin, or feel as smooth as other types of silk she's had in the past. The bottom line on this robe? It is pretty and the printing is attractive and crisp. This robe has beautiful fabric with a beautiful drape. The seams are well stitched. I love the green color I chose and they all seem like they would be pretty in person. It is quality construction and would make an impressive gift. I feel so elegant wearing it that I decided to keep it. Read more

This is a really beautiful robe. I have the dark purple and it is stunning. The colors are so vibrant and I love the way the pattern wraps around the robe. The silk is so soft and smooth, is labeled 100% silk and does feel like it is. It's made well, all of the seams are sewn tight and I didn’t find any loose areas, missing threads or imperfections. It has a matching silk sash to secure the waist and there are small loops on each side to put them through. That is the only part of the robe I'm not fond of. The belt loops are a not quite where I'd want them for, for my waist so when tying the sash it pulls the loops up some which in turn bunches the material up a little at that spot. I love the big oversized fit of the sleeves it really adds to the overall look of the robe. I'm tall and the length of the robe is just perfect and aside from my small issue with the belt loops the robe drapes beautifully. Read more
