I wear a women's US size 9 shoe. These slippers * just fit* so grading down a star for that reason alone. I thought about exchanging for the next size up but was afraid these would be too big and too wide in the size 9-10. I have a narrow foot except for the width of the widest part (ball of the foot). The faux fur is slippery, unlike real shearling wool, so I put on a thin pair of socks but much too hot that way. Maybe in winter I will do this, however. Ladies: go by the measurements in the size chart. This 7-8 size is 10.3" length (which technically is a true size 9) and with my Morton's (longer second toe) toe, my foot is exactly 10.3" with still a slight amount of room so that my toes or heel are not extending over the slipper on both sides. I'm wearing them right now on a very hot day so these came just in time, and my feet are loving me for doing so. I will update this review with more experience with the slippers once I have some. Thinking about ordering the teal color in future! With the advice I am giving on these slippers for fit, quality, available colors and outstanding price point: RECOMMEND UPDATE: Added another star for these cozy, comfy slippers for ALL of the stars being as I've been wearing these the past few days, and I really do have enough room with what turns out to be the perfect fit, despite my original fears. Ok, so the PROs: 1. Plush, like walking in a cloud. 2. Open-toed feature. I normally wear closed-toed slippers. But find that they make my feet hot and moist (ew, moist, lol). This open toe design helps my feet breathe, which is probably better anyway. The CONs: 1. Narrow. These slippers are really made for narrow feet. If you are a WIDE FOOT individual, as myself, they will fit tightly around your foot. 2. Size Up. I wear a 9.5 (US) and so originally purchased a 9-10 slipper thinking it would be enough; no, it wasn't. The slipper was tight (because of previously mentioned con) and the length wasn't sufficient. And since these slippers are so fluffy, they make your feel slide forward when walking. This caused my toes to hang over the front of the slipper. Ew. Not a fan of "my claws" hanging over the edge of any footwear. Plus, kinda defeats the entire purpose of covering the soles of your feet while walking on heard surfaces. Anywho, you might wanna order a size up (10-11) if you wear sizes 9, 9.5, or 10. The 10-11 gives the extra length. You don't feel like your feet are barely hanging on. Lol. Now, I thought the 10-11 size would be wider, no, still narrow. Good thing the slipper material is soft and plush all around, otherwise these slippers would hurt sides of feet for my wider tootsies. 👣☺️ Overall: For the price, they're a good buy.
