I want some cowboy boots that were lower more booty style or slouch style and these are so perfect. I also want a more neutral type color as well as traditional if you will and when I saw these, I knew I had to get them. They’re very soft. The color is very vibrant. They’re comfortable. I have never seen a boot like this. Thought I would go out of my comfort zone and try these in a safe color black. And the idea I’d have a boot that slouches or straight seemed like a novel idea. They did not fit. I’m not sure if they are narrow or if it’s because of the split toe but I could not get my foot in. With or without socks. I wear a 9 1/2 and usually order a size up. I was pleasantly surprised with this boot. They are well made but not heavy. I found them to be comfortable as well. Ordered the black size 8.5, and I'd say they are true to fit. I really thought this style would be too trendy for me, but they are a really beautiful timeless design. There is a hidden snap inside each boot that allows you to get the scrunch look, it's a little cumbersome to navigate because it is inside the boot, but it works.
