I want some cowboy boots that were lower more booty style or slouch style and these are so perfect. I also want a more neutral type color as well as traditional if you will and when I saw these, I knew I had to get them. They’re very soft. The color is very vibrant. They’re comfortable. The fit is amazing. I did buy them in a size 10 I usually wear a 9 1/2 but I figured with socks. I have never seen a boot like this. Thought I would go out of my comfort zone and try these in a safe color black. And the idea I’d have a boot that slouches or straight seemed like a novel idea. They did not fit. I’m not sure if they are narrow or if it’s because of the split toe but I could not get my foot in. With or without socks. I wear a 9 1/2 and usually order a size up. This is a situation where less would have been so much more. The boot itself is a nice quality with good materials. They are stylish looking and well made. Then we come to the "Split Toe" style. These boots are seriously the perfect dupe for the Maison Margiela Texan Boot, and I’m honestly shocked at how comfortable they are. I love that I can wear them straight up for a sleek look or use the inside buckle to get that relaxed slouch vibe. The quality feels really sturdy and well made, especially for this price point. I was pleasantly surprised with this boot. They are well made but not heavy. I found them to be comfortable as well. Ordered the black size 8.5, and I'd say they are true to fit. I really thought this style would be too trendy for me, but they are a really beautiful timeless design. There is a hidden snap inside each boot that allows you to get the scrunch look, it's a little cumbersome to navigate because it is inside the boot, but it works.
