The color in-person was much more yellow and unpleasant than it seemed online, fine for some outfits but less classy than I expected. They also came in a box where they were folded over, which means they were stored in a way encouraging unsightly wrinkles. My wife has fairly muscular calves, but these were too tight, and there is no zipper or give to accommodate thicker legs. If you have smaller legs, these might work for you. My wife also found that these poked her skin just above the ankle when she walked. They look like pretty high quality, and she liked them other than these things, but personally I would recommend you look elsewhere. Read more

Very cute, Very comfortable. I got a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and it fits great. I am partial to a square toe so this boot really works for me. I also love this color and the soft texture of the material is very nice and not too stiff. It looks good under pants and fits nicely under a wide legged pant. You can also tuck your pants in but when I did this the back sometimes looks strange and bunched up from the back. It just depends on what look you are going for. The bottom of the boot provides a lot of stability. There is no slipping at all, no matter what the surface I am walking on. These boots give nicely as you are walking. They aren't so stiff that your foot can't bend. There is some nice give in them as you walk. The handles on each side make it easy to pull these up and then take them off. These are a great homage to the Frye motorcycle boot. The boot material feels and moves like leather and holds its shape well. The heel is a great height - not too tall nor too short, and also has some weight which helps to make these boots feel really sturdy. I really love the chestnut brown color as it great for all seasons and goes with so many outfits. These have the same look as the Frey’s without the high price tag. To be fair, I’ve had a pair of Frye motorcycle boots that I’ve worn for almost 30 years and have only needed to replace the rubber on the heel and sole and while I don’t think these will last that long, they do feel well made and are comfortable. I'm always a size 9 well 8.5 but always size up to give room for my Greek toes and if I end up switching to use thicker winter socks. There were no reviews and I have many name brand square toe cow boy boots and learned the first time ever to size up so I went with a 9.5 and this fits like a 9 with regular cotton summer socks which means if I choose to wear it soon colder weather I'd be comfortable with thick socks and not hurting. I really like these boots, but unfortunately one of the gold studs popped off before I even left the house, so I think the quality is lacking and they are definitely overpriced. They also appear to be more distressed and camel in color in the first product photos, but they are more of a solid yellow color in person. They are comfortable and they are pretty solid frye imitations. I would recommend these if they were priced substantially less, but you may as well invest in the real deal at this price point. I like these boots but i knocked them down a star for the material. It is very obviously a fake material and does not look that great. However, the boots otherwise are very cute and I like the shape! The fit true to size and are very comfortable. The heel is low enough to be comfy, but high enough to look nice. I love the square toe and the hardware.
