This is a great summer outfit for work or church if you wear it with pumps and gold jewelry. You could also put a turtleneck under the vest and wear it with tights and boots in the Fall or Winter. The skirt fits perfectly and the vest is roomy enough so it doesn't pull or gap across the bustline like many button front tops do on me. The fabric is sturdy and opaque so you can't see through it and it can be laundered at home. The tag says to machine wash it gently in cold water and hang it to dry so it should be easy enough to care for. (I haven't laundered it yet, but I will try to update this review once I have washed it a few times.) The only complaint I have is that there were a few loose threads that needed trimming and the seams around the bottom of the vest needed to be pressed flat with a warm iron, but it looks great after I did that. I definitely like this 2 piece outfit. For reference purposes, I am almost 5'6 and I weight 135-140lbs., chest size 34B and I ordered the size Medium in black and it fits well for the most part. I feel like the skirt just fits and is comfortable enough but if I weighed any more than I do then it would probably be too tight around the waist and hips. The top on the other hand feels a little loose and wide around the chest and shoulders and I think a size Small would have fit better for the top. The problem is that you can't mix and match different sizes for the top and skirt so other people may end up feeling that one half of the outfit fits better than the other, like I do. If I had to choose I'd have to choose the size Medium though because I'm sure a size Small would be too tight in the skirt. The skirt has an elastic waist band with no buttons or zippers and I like that because you can pull it on or off very easily. The top has big round buttons that are easy to grip and shouldn't be any trouble to open, even for people with arthritis. The fabric feels like your typical polyester suit material and the hems and seams are put together nicely. I believe this outfit will hold up well through multiple washings since it's a fairly thick fabric and the stitching is precise and done well. As far as the fit goes, other than a little bit of a loose or boxy fit on the top, I think it looks pretty good. I just put the outfit on straight out of the package and didn't wear stockings or heels with it so I'm sure it will look even better once I do. I will say that the outfit looks a little darker in the advertisement and a bit more sleek, form fitting and not at all boxy but perhaps if I get the top tailored then it will hug my curves better. I only took off 1 star because the skirt and top seem to be sized a bit differently and that may be a minor issue for others like it is for me. I like the overall style of this two-piece set, but I wish I could order different sizes for the top and bottom. The skirt was too small around my waist, and even though the elastic helped me get it on, it gave me a muffin top look. The vest fits fine, but the buttons are a bit too oversized for my taste. This is such a cute outfit! The material is soft and stretchy and hugs the body well. The top buttons are hollow, metal, and gold color. I removed a star solely because the top's structure stretches with my chest and creates small ripples and gaps. It's not terrible, but something to note if you are more top-heavy. This is a darling skirt and vest suit by Mintsnow!! The material is very soft and giving, but my favorite thing about it, is the color in this rich, gorgeous shade of a deep green! It says it's an army green, but I beg to differ, the army green I have seen looks similar to olive, not like this. The 2 faux pockets in the front of the vest, as well as the larger sized, shiny gold buttons are very nice details that really set the tone of this outfit, making a very elegant statement, and would be a great asset to a classy luncheon or the office.
