This is a high quality, stylish, and very flattering summer swimsuit cover-up with a bit of a boho/ hippie feel to it. I love the green color and ordered it to match my green bathing suit. The crochet fabric is semi-sheer and has an open weave design, which works perfectly for a coverup so it isn’t too thick or heavy but not so thin and lightweight like a cheap polyester coverup. This one has some thickness to it so it won’t wrinkle and get gross looking in your beach bag after a day of swimming and laying out. The crochet is a nice fabric that works as a makeshift towel and will soak up any extra moisture instead of leaving you feeling gross. The crochet fabric has a natural boho/ hippie feel to it that reminds me of macrame a little bit. The sleeves are slightly bell sleeve/ flared, which also add to the overall carefree 70s nostalgia. However- my favorite part of this cover-up is the vertical row of eyelets down the front and the textured designs. I don’t think I’ve seen a cover up like that before and it is such a cute and unexpected detail that takes a basic cover-up from being bland and boring to much more stylish and put-together. This is a very nice beach or pool side cover up. I got a 2XL (I wear a 12-14 dress) and I am very happy with the over sized fit. I really like the drape and weight of the fabric. It also seems like it would hold up to continued use and clean up well. Which is important when it could be potentially be exposed to salt water, lake water, or chlorine. I like the knit design that provides just enough coverage to potentially help with some sun protection as well. I would not only wear this just to the pool or lake- but also wear it as a normal top over a cami, tank, or flattering bra on a hot summer day to stay cool. This is not the most flattering cover up. It is very big and bulky and hangs off my shoulders (often falls off one or the other shoulder) but perhaps I have the wrong size?? The material is soft though and it is comfortable to wear so it depends a little bit what is most important to you when you are searching for a cover up. Read more

I got this a little big. I wanted something a little looser for the pool. I probably would have been fine with a small too. IT looks fine though a little larger. Fits just below my bottom. Decent coverage, exactly what I was looking for. The bell sleeves are a nice touch. Lots of color options. Good fabric. Softer as you wash. Seems to maintain its quality. Read more

I had higher hopes for this beach cover-up. The quality, design and style are all off. It looks like I've stolen my overweight great grandmother's shirt. Oversized is lovely, but only when done right. In this case...it went really wrong. Take a look for yourself (pictures included.) It looks sad and dingy on and off, there just isn't a whole lot to work with here. In addition, it looks like the loose threads on mine in the middle are about to break apart at any moment. I would be scared to wash if I had any plan to wear it. It's breathable and crochet material, I wouldn't recommend unless this is your style. Maybe size down if it is. Read more
