This sweater is a really nice mid-weight knit. I also thought that the knit offered an interesting pattern; very subtle but just something different than the typical cable knit. My issue with the sweater was that the overall fit was too large yet not flattering enough to be an oversized fit that would look cute with leggings or the like. Instead it just appeared ill fitting. That being said, this is purely a personal fit issue; the quality met if not exceeded expectations and I did wash the sweater in an effort to shrink it and well, it washed up beautifully too with minimal shrinkage. I also liked that it did not make me itch; so many sweaters, wool or not I find to be scratchy. Therefore, if you’re not a petite woman (I’m 5’2” 126 lbs. and small chested) then this should fit fine. I also really liked that it was a regular length and not cropped. Read more

I don’t normally wear crew necks, instead gravitate to V-necks. The design at the neck becomes the focus so I’ll wear with a necklace to distract. The pattern of the sweater is very pretty, they matched the sleeves quite well, I’m pleased with the quality of construction. It is lightweight but still feels warm on, quite soft to the touch. I ordered my usual XL size and was surprised that it fit tighter than expected on. Of course with a it being a knit, I should be able to stretch it out to fit a bit looser. When ordering cloting online, I always have 3 main concenrs. For your convenience, here are those concerns along with my answers to each: 1) Does it fit correctly - Yes. The size I ordered fits exactly how that size should fit if I were shopping with a retailer in-store. 2) Does it look like the cover photo - Yes. The sweater I received matched the photo's color, fit, and aesthetic. 3) Is it good quality - Probably so. I say "probably" because a part of quality is the item's longevity. From what I can feel and see, it appears to be made of a high-quality fabric and seems very well built. Other Notes - The bigges thing I'd add is its softness. Holy smokes, this thing is SOFT! It feels almost like those super soft socks you can get for lounging around the house, but the material feels much more durable than the socks. It's hard to explain. The other thing I'd add is that the color I got (white/cream) is pretty see-through. You'll want something under it if you're going to parent teacher conference. Read more
