I was on the fence about which size to get, my butt and hips need an XL while my top can fit a L. I deliberated for about a week and made myself crazy reading reviews and filtering by my approximate measurements, looking at pictures, etc. I finally decided to just order the L and XL and keep which one fit best. My body's measurements are not the norm lol so it was difficult for me to choose. For reference; Bust:44, Waist: 33, Hips: 46. There's fully a 12 inch difference between my waist and hips and it makes it difficult to find things that fit properly. Absolute hourglass, to say I am curvy is an understatement. Also, I'm almost 5'4" on a good day, if I laid on an inversion table haha. I have no idea what I weigh, I avoid the scale at all costs. My best guess would be 175? The L suit came in first. I tried it on, it fit just fine but I felt the leg openings on the bottom needed a little bit more give. The top fit perfectly, no problems. I could have kept it honestly but like I said, my thighs felt like they needed a bit more give. The XL came in 2 days later. There wasn't really a big difference in the top vs. the large. I was worried it would be too big. Anyways, the bottoms of the XL were just a tiny bit more forgiving in the leg openings, I didn't feel quite so constricted. I decided to keep the XL for this reason. There really wasn't a noticeable difference otherwise. The tops were about the same. Regarding the fit, it fits great, covers all my problem areas; tummy pooch. The ruching on the bottoms also sits nicely so there's double the protection against any wild imperfections showing. I'm short so the high waist goes up pretty high on me, exactly what I wanted since there's no way I will ever willingly show my stomach area in public. The top's double layered ruffle does a great service in smoothing out my silhouette. It's very flattering without looking bulky. I was worried it would hang like a potato sack and not do my figure any favors but honestly it still hugs the curves. I adjusted the straps so that the little metal sliders sit at the very top of my shoulders and that's perfect for me. I was worried the boob pads would be weird, I usually take them out of everything but I think I'll leave them. They're just foam circles but they will keep my nips from poking through, something I'm not comfortable with, especially around family. They add a little structure. The top in combination with the high waisted bottoms definitely do the job of covering every inch of my torso in a cute and stylish way, no skin shows but I don't look like a granny lol. Perfect! The material is exactly like every other swimsuit I've ever had or touched in stores. Swimsuity. If you're on the fence, I say just go for it. If you're between sizes and have a booty, size up, your thigh squish will thank you. Now that I have the sizing figured out, I want to order a couple more in different prints. Finally found a bathing suit, i love wearing. Being a mother of 4 finding something that fits my figure plus makes me feel sexy is hard to come by. I'm 5'3, 150lbs, 34 D. Ordered a size medium. It is the perfect coverage for my mid frame (to cover those enormous stretch marks) and the top supports everything up in place very flattering with padding, adjustable straps, Cute layered cut that you can play with alittle. I got this swim suit for a December cruise because there were no swim suits to be found in the stores near me! I prefer two piece swimsuits but also prefer modest coverage because I burn really easily. So Bikini style is a no for me. And I would like to lose a bit of weight so I'm a bit self conscious of my tummy in a skimpy swim suit. This swim suit checked all the boxes for me. The sizing was perfect. It was a bit wrinkly straight out of the package (photo) but after washing it looked great. I wore this in the pools and hot tubs on the cruise ship and the chlorine did not fade the color. It also dried hanging overnight in the cruise ship shower and was ready to wear the next day. The bottoms fit perfect - the leg holes were not too tight around my thighs and did not ride up between the cheeks. The waist band stayed up but did not feel like it was constricting me. The top was supportive and not super low cut. I'm a B cup and often struggle with swim tops meant for more busy women. I can't fill out some swim tops and then constantly have to be checking to make sure they didn't pop open or slide down. Not a problem with this suit. I never worried about accidentally flashing anyone. There's a band around the ribs that supported the girls, which you can't see because of the length of the bottom ruffle. I'll probably buy another one of these suits in a different color/ pattern because I felt super cute and supported could just enjoy my time at the pool instead of worrying about having a fashion catastrophe.
