Regular sized calves need not apply

Moonglow ColorKidJuly 29, 2025

I should have been highly suspicious about these since they were not on a model at all, but I went for them because the color was too amazing and absolutely PERFECT with this sequin dress (shown in pics). The problem is in the fit. My legs are pretty thin and I still cannot get the lower half of the boot to straighten over my calf - and there is definitely not enough space in the thigh. Because it's so tight, the top of the boot squeezes my thigh and causes that sort of "pudgy" look, sort of like a muffin top for legs. Unlike many other boots made in this material, these are not made for pole dancing, either. There's no spot in the knee for a hidden knee pad. These boots have absolutely no room for that. They are way too tight. It also just seems like the boot expects there to be a lot more shin, because if there were enough space in these boots, and they did raise up all the way, they would go literally to my crotch. I did try a tiny bit of dancing in these and they grip the pole great, but the fit is ridiculous. I tried a hair dryer a few times and am going to keep just wearing them and warming them up to see if they stretch, but seriously. Not worth it. Just look for the same boot in a wider fit/calf size because these ain't gonna be it for anyone with average to above average calves. For reference I'm a size 8 shoe M/L clothing, long leg short torso 5'6 about 140ish. Read more
