I took 2 stars off because they are in no way “tummy control” nor does the back side have anything special (lifting/shaping) like it shows in the pictures. I’m 5’3”, weight is a constant fluctuation from anywhere from 105-140 and currently at 130, very short torso, carry my weight in my thighs and midsection, which is squishy, lumpy and bumpy from multiple surgeries. I ordered a medium and need a small. The lace leg openings are soft and very stretchy. It’s extremely hard for me to find something that doesn’t dig into my waist and legs and these do not. They are full coverage and high waisted on me, over belly button, which I prefer. The waistband is wide but it doesn’t roll down, has a lot of stretch and isn’t constrictive. The material was unexpected. It’s the exact same as the opaque tights I used to wear as a kid (80s baby). It’s very thin and has above average stretch. Although it’s soft, it is not a smooth sleek feeling, could be itchy to some. They will collect every speck of lint, most likely pill, and will absolutely snag.
