This to was just what I was looking for. Good support, but without the underwire to poke you while swimming. It's stretchy and comfortable and seems to dry pretty fast. It fits true to size. I have order 8 tannins this past week and this is the one I’m keeping. I love the sew in pads, personally hate chasing those flimsy pads trying to position them just right, underwire provides nice support without cutting into body. I wear a 36C and large was a perfect fit. I ordered it again in another color. My torso and shoulder to bust area is very short, I was able to adjust the straps past the seam so no slipping down., very happy about that. All tankini’s are too long for me but before hemming top I was able to shove extra material under the bust since there’s elastic all the way around like a built in bra for a quick fix so I could wear it right away. This doesn’t change my personal review because I got this for me, but just know that the manufacturer’s box this was in was heavily punctured somewhere between boxing it and shipping to me (the outer shipping package was fine, so I was sent one with an already-busted box, it seems). Not sure how that got through, but at least this company DID box it up on top of the inner bag to protect the fabric, a big plus over the thin plastic-covered items! You can probably tell by the manufacturer picture, but let me emphasize that this thing has a firm bust to it that is both very flattering/shape-holding and heavy compared to the rest of it, so you probably need to swim a little slowly the first time or two and stick to places with controlled currents that are low, very low (ideally nearly none save water recirculating=a swimming pool). This would not be the best for ocean splashing (not that I would want to spend much time with salt water against my bare arms/collarbone area in the sun). I haven’t yet taken it to the pool, but it is going to be the next in circulation as I rotate them for a handful of wears and soapy rinses each before washing them more deeply. The colors are vibrant, the fabric is nice quality, and it didn’t have toooo much color go down the drain (all in this price range do, the first couple of hand washes, make the water very murky/dark… can’t expect otherwise til you double or even triple the price and totally swap materials out in most cases)? The straps are really comfortable compared to a lot of competitors I’ve tried, too. It flatters and can easily be worn to summer sports activities aside from perhaps volleyball and similar jumping/bouncing activities. My 34D chest does get exposed a little, but not to a point where it is unflattering, just a tad risky for the water. It is mostly going to be a recreational piece for the beach and lake instead of days I go to actually swim laps. The main thing I love is its fit. The fabric that hugs the underside of the breasts is really flattering! If you need a boost of confidence and like one of the patterns available, it is very pretty! Just go easy on the watersports. I would definitely not go jumping in it, not for water aerobics or pool volleyball or water polo… and I am going to play it safe and wear it on a slow swim day to see if it tries to eject my body from the top or keeps me held in well (once I convince myself to go back to the pool with the weather this cold, at least! Wow! Finally found my perfect tankini top. I purchased a slim little swim skirt to wear with it. LOVE IT!! This suit is made so well. I love the underwire and you can't even feel it.
