I was worried that this would fit weird but it is actually very flattering. The lace detail is so nice and the material is a nice weight. Not too thick or thin. I bought a XL. I am 5’4” and 200 lbs. I usually wear a L in shorts but I wanted some wiggle room. This was a little short on my waist and was slightly small hence the four stars. So size up one size if you wanted to fit comfortably. Overall, super happy with it. I love the style. I just need to drop a couple pounds. I recently had a baby. She is two years old. So I am carrying a little extra weight around my waist and I am on the busty side. I attribute that to the way that it fits. But it is forgiving. I just think you need to size up. Read more

The neckline is a little more boxy with the cut than it looks in the pictures, but it still looks cute and is comfortable! Material is soft and it fits nicely. My upper arms are a bit bigger and it sometimes make me self conscious, but this cardigan isn’t too tight and helps with confidence! I absolutely love this shirt. It is so cute. The fabric is like a waffle pattern, kinda like long underwear and it has lace in the front and the back and at the end of the sleeves. It’s so so cute. It’s for my 18 year-old granddaughter. She wears shirts like this all the time. The sides are a little bit shorter than the front and back maybe like an inch but it adds to the charm of this shirt. The weight of the material is nice, but the construction is sewn well, the lace is nice and should last a while, it just runs small. Even the arms are small. If you are getting this as a Free People replacement, definitely size up 2 sizes. The sizing chart is helpful, but size up because there is no stretch to this shirt, and it's very fitted. It won't look right unless it's a bit baggier. You can't really wear this open, you must button at least 2 buttons, because the neckline flops weirdly if you don't button it up top. Take that into account. I do think it is a bit overpriced. It's currently $29, and it would be more reflective of a good value for the materials if it were $20, so maybe you can catch it on sale. I normally wear a medium, so that’s what I got—but if I had to do it again, I’d size up. For me, the close fit made it feel less breathable than I expected from a waffle knit.
