They're the equivalent of dollar store snow/winter boots. Extremely lightweight, because the soles are made out of thick foam, but they wouldn't last a city winter on icy sidewalks and salted streets. The soles are also curved upwards on the edges, so while they're true to size, the curvature makes the tips of my toes angle upwards and it feels really weird. The top portion of the boots remind me of puffy down jacket, but the cheap kind. Nice ladies waterproof boots. They are about 1/2 size too small. I normally wear ladies size 8.5. These size 8.5 boots fit me really snuggly just like size 8 shoes usually fit. Perhaps the snug fit is caused by the thick fleece insulation inside these boots. The boots are really lightweight, soft, and comfortable to wear around town, malls, and parks, etc...
