I bought these boots to replace the ankle boots I had to let go because they were falling apart. These seem very sturdy, so I think they'll last a good while. I love the style - a little western, but very chic. The heel is solid and has a large enough base to make for comfortable walking. The pointed toe doesn't cramp my feet or rub anywhere, and I love the metal insert. I don't like boots that have really wide openings because I have thinner ankles. These are perfect, giving me room to move but not looking sloppy and too big. The faux leather looks real and is fairly thick. All in all, the quality and appearance are very good. The fit is spot on for me, as well. I'm a solid size 9, bought a size 9 and they fit just like they should. And they're so comfortable. I wore them on vacation and walked around most of the day with no blisters or sore spots. Because of the heel height, my feet were a little tired at the end of the day, but nothing hurt at all. They fit incredibly well, but if you have a slightly chunky foot, I recommend sizing up at least a half size. These shoes pair perfectly with jeans, skirts, and jumpers! These booties are literally everything! They have that Western style with the metal edged toe, a slightly higher than cowboy boot heel, and the straps that run across the front and sides give it a more refreshed look. The heel is just enough to make these look a bit dressier, but not so high that I can't walk in them, or walk over uneven ground or cobblestone streets in them. What I really like though, is that they're still really comfortable to wear! In the interest of full disclosure, I ordered a 7 because I wear a 6.5 and prefer to put insoles into my shoes for more comfort, but even straight out of the box, these are comfortable. With the added insole support - I can wear these all day, into the night, and have zero issues. The zipper in the back was easy to pull up and down, and happily does not show signs of any bumps or issues with repeated use so far...and these are on repeat currently. Event after event, I keep reaching for these to wear. We have a weekend long event coming up, and I already have these paired with a gothic styled look, a dark boho look, and a more rock n roll vampire Lestat inspired vibe - and they work perfectly. The burgundy color is next on my list to get, and possibly the beige as well. These are well worth the price, and I notice that the seller occasionally offers coupons, too - which is making it harder for me not to immediately add more to my cart. Oh how I wanted these to work. They are so very cute and the color is to die for. The material is incredibly soft, and honestly, they "feel" like a high quality leather (but ai don't thinknl they are) I think for the right foot, they woukd be perfect, but for some reason, on me they just have an odd feeling in the heel that (maybe?) will get better with wear. They are a bit tight across the top of the foot as well, so definitely made for a narrower foot. I typically wear a 7, but in a pointy toed shoes, I order half a size up. These boots has a great stacked block heel and is easy to get on and off thanks to the back zipper. The material quality is excellent, and they're simple to care for and super versatile. While maybe not the most durable, they don't fade, lose stretch, shrink, or restrict movement. As of yet and I always receive at least 1 compliment on them with every wear. Read more
