So many cute boots have stiletto heels...I was instantly attracted to these because the heel is not very high and sensible. I associate boots with cold weather and I feel safer on slippery surfaces with a substantial foundation. And, I don't think cuteness was too sacrificed. I liked that it was "wide calf" because I like to tuck my leggings in. I was really happy when I received them and the zipper extended from the ankle all the way up to the top. While the boots are faux leather, they look and feel nice. I like the western style so the toes are squared and roomy. When I took them out of the box, my daughter (who wears the same size) asked if they were for her... I'm like, no. She tried them on anyway and discovered they were very comfortable... I'm afraid they might accidently disappear into her closet! But, since I think they reasonably priced, I might just get another pair. Read more

These boots are absolutely gorgeous - far better quality than what I had been anticipating based on the Amazon post. From the gift box worthy sparkly silver box the boots came in, to the attention to detail obviously paid in how the boots were packed in that box, they are clearly of good quality. The materials used as well the construction itself are top tier without crossing over into the handmade territory. I was also impressed with the forefoot insert they included for anyone who might need a little extra padding for the boot to properly fit. Unfortunately for myself they simply were not wide enough. (I did research what qualifies shoes as being wide and where those measurements are taken and according to that research these boots actually exceed the standard by a tiny margin). But, I have bilateral lower limb lymphadema and require REALLY wide footwear so was not able to squeeze my feet into these. For anyone who requires just basic regular wide boots/shoes, I highly recommend these gorgeous boots - you will not be disappointed. Read more
