I'm short/average height (5'6"), so I was a little cautious when ordering these pants. I jumped at the high-waisted feature of the pants since I'm in the middle of some weight fluctuation. When I received and tried on the pants, they fit just right - they were not too long, and they were not too tight (maybe they were just a little loose and I could have done with a belt). The fabric is polyester and I ordered them for work. The product description says that these can be used as workout pants, but I would beg to differ. They are not like yoga pants or like a jogger. I would say these are business pants. As for the sizing, I would say that these run big. My waist size is 28" so not big enough for a medium, but not small enough for a small. Since I'm on a downward trend with my waist size, I went with a small. Well, there was still about three inches in the waist that was loose. That's great, because that means these pants aren't crazy small, nor are they crazy big because if I had a belt, these would have fit nicely. I love the straight leg cut of these pants which lend to a very slimming effect through the hip and leg. I'm not a fan of the flare or wide leg, so I'm thrilled to have come across these pants. The pants come with a spare button in case the one on the pants comes off. Just beware of ironing. I took a light iron to the pants and still burned them at the seam. Perhaps place a towel over the pants before ironing. The burn I made wasn't too bad, it doesn't show, but I thought it was worth mentioning here. Overall, these are great pants. Read more

I got these because the photos clearly show an elastic waist at the back of the trousers and they were described as stretchy. There is not one ounce of spandex in this fabric and certainly not a trace of elastic anywhere. These remind me of business pants from 15 years ago - they are elegant, with a hint of sheen (and no stretch). The button in front of my black pants is the same as the one shown on the white pants - not the brightest from a design perspective. For a pair of polyester pants, albeit well finished with good sized belt loops, the price point is way too high. They are true to size; can be machine washed in cold water; line dry; no ironing. To understand my star rating: These are worth 5 stars from a quality and finish perspective. Minus 2 stars for the misrepresentation regarding the stretch.
