I was all set to give these pants a five star review! All they needed to do was wash well and lose their “wrinkles” from being vacuum packed. But they didn’t. One wash didn’t help at all, which I have never seen. A few minutes in the dryer (even though the dryer isn’t recommended) didn’t help at all. I even tried the iron (which really isn’t recommended, but I had to try something) didn’t help. I only used the synthetic setting, working up to hottest on that, but I didn’t want to melt the pants. I tried one more wash on a warmer water setting—see the results for yourself. My conclusion is that these aren’t just wrinkles from packaging, but probably heat damage. Maybe from packaging? Maybe while packaged? I’m perplexed! Will they all have this problem or were mine just a fluke? I’m not sure, so while I did subtract 2 stars for damage/weirdness, I will also review what I liked! These run true to size. The feel is light and airy. They have POCKETS! It can be dressed up or down. Dries fast. Although there are no written care instructions, it does come tagged with care instruction symbols. These are listed as ankle length, if you are not tall, they might be a bit longer, but that is normal. There is a natural, intended wrinkled quality that I like in the intended vertical direction. The wide legs make it look like a skirt. My husband was convinced this was a skirt. If it weren’t for the horizontal lines (that correspond to the way it was folded/packed that will not come out, I would really like these pants. Read more
The L-XL size suits my figure. I have a petite mango-shaped figure that usually wears a L-XL or 14 in pants. The stretchy waistband is forgiving on me. The hem length surprisingly fits me. I thought it may be longer on me. Its polyester-polyamide fabric is soft enough and feels more like crispy-ish cotton but more comfortable. I'm liking it and looks good with a flowy top on me. The only part I'm iffy about is its Light Blue color. It's great color for Spring and Summer. But not quite for Autumn like it is for me now. Wished I got the Black color since it's more versatile season-wise. Looks great with sandals. Recommended. Read more
These are exactly as shown and described and are perfect for a little pizazz at work. They need a good steam to get out the wrinkles but otherwise are perfect. Definitely use your waist measurement for fit as the hips and rear on these pants is already quite generous and the measurements don't seem to change much there, but the size chart shows the waist measurement does change a good bit so I'm glad I followed that so that the waist wouldn't be too tight (it definitely would have been if I had used my narrow/smaller hip measurement). I was really looking forward to this pair of palazzo pants, but was left very disappointed. I order the small/medium per the size chart. This thing fits like a size 2/4. I know, because I used to be a size 2/4 before the kiddos came along. The waist was so tiny I couldn't even get it past my thighs and no I do not have excessively fat thighs. I am a 6 in Kohls/Vanderbilt/Amanda jeans, for this to fit me, I'd need to go up 1 maybe even 2 sizes, which makes no sense. Size aside, the fabric is thin, stiffish reminds me of the lining inside dresses and skirts. It would be like making a skirt out of liner. It arrived vacuum packed and very wrinkly. I haven't tried to remove the wrinkles, because it didn't even pass the fit test. At $26 I expected better. There are better options, skip this one. Read more
I will be honest and say that I didnt think they would look good on me since I am pudgy and short. I did not expect the material to be super cheap feeling and them to look so awful! The do not have any flow as the laterical is thin yet kind of stiff. It looks okay if standing straight but if you go to bed or walk, the way the material bunches in the from is really unflattering. This is supposed to be large/x-large and it is definitely more of of a large only which is fine for me but if you needed the larger side of it, it will be too tight. I would definitely keep looking. I do really like these pants just wish they fit a little bit better. I ordered a small to medium because I felt like a large extra large would have been too big, but when they arrived the tag on the actual pants says small. I would assume that that means the large extra large would have been a large, so I'm not sure how you would even order a medium. The material of the pants is very thin and a comfortable way, but I do not expect these to be very durable. They wrinkle quite easily. They do not look like a skirt as they do in the picture they look more like sloppy pants. I was very surprised I was even able to get them on, but once I did they were not very flattering on me. If you were super thin I imagine these would look better, but I am only 5'3" and 170 lb Read more
These wide leg pants are great to wear in spring and summer. The material is lightweight and has almost a slippery feel to it. I ordered the S/M, because I usually wear a medium and they were so tight around the waist. It almost seemed like an XS. I do like that they are high waisted and the pants look like a skirt making them a little dressier. Read more
