Our middle school daughter got this to wear for a Halloween costume and cosplay outfit, but it's a decent lightweight trench coat with a belt. It's not a heavy coat, so would be better in the autumn or where the temperature doesn't get too cold, like the Carolinas where we live. She's average height, and the length is good for her.
