The corduroy is lightweight, however the fit is awkward. I am not sure if they are going for a boyfriend fit where is it slightly oversized, but the tailoring would improve if the waist was sinched in more. There are pros and cons with this jacket. The jacket is well made with a soft comfortable feel and a nice silky lining. The material is not stiff but instead has a soft and flexible feel to it. The length is perfect, coming just below my hips and each side of the jacket has 2 nice sized pockets. I have already put it through the washer and dryer and it came out perfectly. Unfortunately though, I found the sizing to be inaccurate. I am about 5'4" and normally take a 12 in a jacket so took a gamble with the medium (which the website indicated for sizes 10-12). The jacket, although the arm length, overall jacket length, and shoulders fit fine, the rest is to big with to much material in the front. The look is good. The quality is not so good. It is very thin fabric not the corduroy design I was looking for. The color was perfect. The lining of the jacket was good for the large size I ordered it for just fine. But my only gripe was how expensive this jacket was for what you’re getting. I received this blazer in a large and I’m impressed with the quality. It’s very well tailored, and the inside fabric is soft and comfortable. Not itchy like some blazers. This isn’t usually my go-to style, but I wanted something to pair with a sweater I recently bought, and it works perfectly. It adds a polished, professional touch without feeling stiff. This was a disappointment for sure. The color, cut and fit of this blazer is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Started off so great - but the liner is made a cheap tech-style plastic. Its a con in two major ways: 1) Its noisy, that's the first thing I noticed. If you walk in a room - people will know. 2) the plastic liner is pointless, so it just feels like it was a way to cheap out on the materials. For example, if it kept you warm like a puffer, but looked like a blazer on the outside, that would be kind of clever and cool. But instead, its the warmth of a typical blazer, and a confusing plastic lining that does absolutely nothing. I haven't decided yet if I'll donate it or actually keep it and wear out it out, but trying it out in my own house left me pretty disappointed. Read more
